Welcome To Year 2!

Hello! Mr Moors and Miss Archer here, we're the Year 2 teachers.
We're so pleased that school is finally open again and can't wait to get to know our new children and their families. We're ready to help children catch up on their lost learning time and we're dedicated to making sure every child is safe and happy while they're at school.
Year 2 is a vital year in every child's education. Children start to become independent learners, their interest in the world around them begins to grow and they start to learn some of the key skills that will be important throughout their time at school. This means it is extremely important that parents help their children to learn this year, by listening to them read their books every day, and helping them with their homework. Talking to your child about their school day is also a great way to help them with their learning.
